Iron Pony Quilt Top Dress (OSFM)
DESCRIPTIONThe last of the quilt top dresses I had made by my local seamstress. This one is made out of a 1930s/40s postal stamp quilt comprised of blue, burgundy, and white calicos, homespun plaid, and many other prints. Made of 100% cotton. Straps have extra length in case they need to be adjusted. Has two pockets that are lower on the hips.
Made from a size 8 pattern, but shown on model who wears a small. Bust is adjustable because of tie, and hips are free. The upper bust tied tightest measures 16” across. Length is 40” from base of strap.
Condition: quilt top is in strong condition with no tears or holes. There are areas of discolorations throughout due to age, but lends to the overall look of the dress. These might come out with further attention.
