DESCRIPTION

1940s Spanish leather jacket from the Franco regime, most likely a motorcyclist’s escort coat. Leather is soft and supple. Bodice is lined in wool sleeves are lined in nylon “silk”. Sleeve zippers have been replaced at some time with nylon zippers. Front pocket zipper is missing teeth but open, so pocket is still functional. Besides a few scuffs surface abrasions, jacket is in great wearable condition.

This jacket is from my personal collection, and I removed the insignias while in my possession, but put them back on for this sale. If you plan to wear, out of respect for the suffering of the Spanish people of that time, I recommend removing the insignia. This is a seriously rare find - it could be a museum piece. Special thanks to Matt from Rebels & Rogues for digging up this info - jacket was originally purchased from him.

Measurements: 16” shoulder to shoulder seam, 19” armpit to armpit, 24” sleeve length, and 19” length from rear collar seam. Fits like a women’s medium or men’s extra small.

DETAILS
  1. Leather outer, wool & cotton lining

  2. From the 1940s

  3. Professional leather clean only
