1940s Silky Two-piece Lounge Set (S)
DESCRIPTIONThe definition of vintage luxury: Gorgeous rich wine colored floral lounge set by “Satin Sonette”. Wear the top as a separate or wear the set together. Top is cut on the bodice and features white satin piping, mother of pearl buttons, and a tie behind waist. Pants feature an adjustable waist by cinching the back. Depending on your waist size, you may need to add a longer tie or sew in some elastic.
In great condition for its age - looks barely worn. Top has no flaws to note. Pants have an original mend at the crotch that is holding up just fine. Like I said above, one might want to add elastic or a longer tie to pants but they are wearable as is. Please refer to photo #5 to see how pants currently secure.
Measurements lying flat: For the top - 14” shoulder to shoulder, 18.5” across bust, 17.5” across waist, and 25” length. For the Pants - Can stretch up to 16” across waist (but measure 13” across max with current tie), 21” across hips, 16.5” front rise, and 22” inseam.
*Model wears a size small and I felt that these fit her well. They are not pinned at all in the photos. Despite measurements, I feel these would best fit an XS-S, possible a medium.
