DESCRIPTION

Adorable homemade cotton organdy dress with mother of pearl buttons, drop waist, and full pleated skirt. Comes with a matching tie belt that cinches in your natural waistline.

This dress is one of many in my inventory that were made by two sisters in rural North Georgia. From the 1930s-1960s, they managed to expertly sew hundreds of shirtwaist dresses ranging in all colors of the rainbow. Dress has been washed, but has a few very faint rust spots from being stored for 50+ years.

Would best fit a women’s size medium and can accommodate a larger bust. Measurements lying flat (double for full measurement): 21” armpit to armpit, 14.5” across waist, 20” across upper hips, free lower hips, and 43” length from mid shoulder.

DETAILS
  • 100% cotton. Semi sheer

  • From the 1940s

  • Machine wash delicate and hang dry
