Rare 1940s Chimayo Sport Jacket by La Azteca (M)
DESCRIPTIONVintage 1940s La Azteca Chimayo “shorty” jacket in perfect condition. Not only is the weaving vibrant, but the cherry red cordoroy sleeves look like they have not seen a day in the sun. This jacket is from my personal collection and was always worn with care. It features the ball & chain talon pocket zipper, front talon zipper, and side cinch. Tag is perfectly in tact. Sleeve cuffs have decorative buttons made from a slice of a twig.
Measurements lying flat: 16” across shoulder seam, 19” across armpits, 18.5” length from rear collar seam to hem, and 21.5” sleeve length. Best fits a size medium, but is shown a model who usually wears an xs/s.
