1930s Bias Cut Silk Satin Wedding Gown (XS)

$275.00
sold out

Drop dead gorgeous and incredibly unique 1930s silk satin wedding gown. Has a high cowl neck, gathered bust with leaf and faux pearl details, ruched sleeves that end in a point at the wrist, button back closure, and skirt that flows like butter. Champagne colored silk is soft and substantial, creating great movement as you move about.

This dress presents good and silk is strong, but it has a few small flaws common with age. There are a few faint spots near hem, and very faint red bleed on the front, and small grey mark at neck & elbow, a repair on back that could be redone, and some snag lines/ tiny holes here and there (all photo’d below). Despite this, flaws are not overtly noticeable when worn. Dress has NO odor or armpit discoloration. It has not been dry cleaned, but that would help further lighten some of these stains.

It is cut on the bias and best fits an xs. Model is 5’6” and wears a small, she had a hard time getting it on (30” waist must slide over shoulders). Measures 17” across armpits, 30” max streched waist (best for a 24/25 waist), 23” across hip, and 60” length. Fabric 100% silk.

Please review photos and details closely as all sales are final. All items are vintage and may have slight imperfections. Fastest way to get in touch with questions is to DM me on instagram @ironponyshop.
